Vision for the Future
Lonely Hill Films was finally formed at the end of 2020, though the head of Lonely Hill Films has been a part of the entertainment industry since the late 1980's.
The pathway to arriving here has indeed been a bit of a winding road filled with many different experiences !
Starting off in the music industry, initially as a performer, then a manager of several bands, our key creative also became a fully qualified public relations consultant, before returning to the entertainment industry, this time in the world of film and television spending time in almost every role on a film set, not only in front of camera, but in crew, working in diverse areas such as production assistant, continuity, sound, third assistant director, second assistant director, sound recordist, 1st assistant director, production manager, editor ... .
Understanding as many aspects of the mechanics of film became highly important before taking on the role of director and producer. Understanding and empathising with every role and everyone is a core value of Lonely Hill Films.
Lonely Hill Films and the future
Working together with bright, creative and brave creatives is where we see Lonely Hill Films going.
We don't want to take the "safe path", not in story, not in vision, but no steps forward can be made without a team that's committed AND supportive to everyone, no matter where they are in the structure of the film making process.
We want people who can share that vision, that common goal and join us as we create and make the future bright, brave and worthy.
The creative pathway can be a tricky one, we simply ask that everyone on our team moves forward with respect, empathy, understanding and a fearlessness that comes with knowing that WE will be your safety net to take that dive off the edge with us.
